An Eljen Geotextile Sand Filter (GSF) system is an advanced treatment system that does much of the cleaning above the soil instead of relying on the ground alone. Effluent leaves the septic tank, spreads across the module’s open core, and passes through layered geotextile fabric where bacteria break down waste.
By the time water reaches the sand and native soil below, it has already been treated.
